Did anyone who had no loss of taste or smell notice a change to how food tasted after covid?

I had covid late last year and had no loss of taste or smell at all. However, since then, sweet foods taste unbearably sickly. I have always had a really sweet tooth, but now chocolate, cake, ice cream etc are eating mouthfuls of syrup. Even weetabix or rich tea biscuits taste too sweet. I know people who have had the same after losing their sense of smell and taste but not people who didn't lose them.

Yes I’ve gained parosmia with long Covid , it’s very devastating as I loved food now I have to force myself to eat it x

Oh sorry I’m answer to your question I can’t even touch chocolate now , and I was a chocoholic 😢

@Overtired201984's it's so strange isn't it. When I am home alone I often forget to eat, whereas before I was constantly grazing. How long is it since you had covid?

It’s the weirdest , I’ve never felt so pooorly since Christmas Eve , and I had Covid end of October - but yes it feels worse now than when I had Covid . All I want to do is sleep x

Sorry to hear you feel so bad. I have the constant tiredness, even after 11 or 12 hours sleep, but I'm lucky that I don't feel poorly. I hope it doesnt last too much longer for you.
