Still positive on day 11...

Triple jabbed, felt pretty rough on day 1 (mainly lightheaded, fatigued and achey) but fine by day 4. I have had strong positives on LFTs the whole way through except for 1 very faint line around day 5 which made me think it was going, but clearly not. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm baffled but also a bit unsure what to do, according to the rules I no longer have to isolate as I am highly unlikely to be contagious but I still feel a bit uncomfortable about seeing any vulnerable family members if I'm getting positive lfts. My husband had it just before me, he had much worse symptoms yet was negative by day 5.

Yes, two of my kids continued to test positive until day 13 (I know you're not supposed to test after day 10). One was completely asymptomatic all the way through, other was mildly ill for the first couple of days. I'm end of day 9 of my infection and now getting strong positive results.

Why are people still testing? Do the day 5/6 thing and if you don't get 2 negatives wait until your 10 days is up.

I would stop testing now you are past the 10 days, but I wouldn’t suggest seeing vulnerable family members for a few more days. You can continue getting positive LFT for some time, but not be contagious anymore, but it’s best to be safe.

Thanks this is how I feel. The reason I kept testing was one of my in laws - they help me with childcare once a week but one of them has a condition and getting covid would really be bad for them. Haven't tested in 2 days now though and won't see them for at least a week.

It's 2 consecutive tests negative tests 24 hours apart from day 5 to day 10 to be released early. So even 2 negative tests on days 8 and 9 get you out a bit earlier. Also NHS staff aren't allowed back into work until day 15 if they are still positive on LFT. You have to test daily from day 5 to get your 2 days clear until day 10 or 1 clear LFT on days 11-15 to go back to work.
