I'm going to New York 21st feb, I have just tested positive for covid so I'm worried I won't be able to go? I have had both my jabs. Does anyone know the rules?

you need a negative test taken within the day before your flight - can be pcr or lateral flow needs to be supervised to get the fit to fly certificate

The USA accepts proof of covid recovery.

I'm just not exactly sure how you get it. My positive tests show in the NHS app, but not sure what proof you need.

I've discovered that you have to have a signed letter from a health professionals re the proof of recovery.
Not sure if doctors will give these out for free though.
