How to get proof of covid recovery (for travel purposes)

I was hoping to be able to go away over February half term.
I'm currently covid positive - on day 7. Test was very positive yesterday still but today, a couple of days post antiviral treatment, is is only a very faint line. So I'm hoping by day q0 the LFTs will be totally negative.

However, there is always a risk of testing positive post covid infection, especially on PCR, for a few weeks,

Some countries allow proof of covid recovery, within 90 days.

But I can't figure out how to access this.
On the NHS app, my covid pass makes no reference to being positive at all. I can go in my health record part of the Covid Pass app and it shows the positive tests listed there with dates. But there doesn't appear to be a way to get printed proof of recovery, or a linked reference to the recovery via the pass.

Interestingly the Pass doesn't reference me being positive. It just brings up my proof of vaccines. I assume if it was scanned by the right people it may have the further information perhaps.

I think when your isolation officially ends of day 10 it should appear in the app. Mine did.

Hi, for me the travel section of the NHS app was updated after 10 days to show "recovered" alongside the vaccination records - you'd swipe right and it comes up on the last screen after the vaccination details. There is an option to download pdf or receive by email and this will include recovery.

Ah thank you, that's great.

Just trying to figure out if could still go away. Not booked yet but was due to just before testing positive. Now, more than before, do I feel like I'd benefit from a week in the sun!

It depends where you decide to travel to. Each country has different requirements. For example, to go to America, as well as your covid records on the NHS app you must have a signed letter from a Dr stating what date you were positive and what date your isolation ended. Not all GPs do this, so some online GPs are providing this at a fee. Think the cheapest I saw was £90.

My covid recovery pass appeared on day 12

I will take a look re the letter. That hadn't come up on the website I'd looked at.

I'm hoping an LFT will be fine soon anyway
