Tremors/vibrations after covid

I saw a similar post but can't find it.

I had covid back in August, was very poorly with it. It turned into long covid but by Xmas I was feeling back to normal with no symptoms.

Over the past few months I've noticed vibrations inside and tremors in my hands and sometimes legs.

I haven't paid much attention to it but today it feels much worse and very visible.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this and how you managed it?

I know the thread you mean but can't remember what it was called. Yes I had this and tried to reassure the op that it would pass. What I didn't tell her was I had long covid and the feeling came back for months. Like when you haven't eaten, exert yourself and blood sugar drops so you feel trembly inside and like your going to start with a panic attack, anxiety in pit of stomach. I didn't really do anything about it as at the time (March 2020) you were told to not call for medical assistance unless lips turned blue🙄 after 3 months I emailed my GP with list of symptoms and got one line reply 'yes it's covid, hope you feel better soon' 😏 All though things have progressed a lot since then I don't think anybody really has the answers, it's just a really weird virus and only thing that helps is time and rest 💐

Thank you for responding. It helps to know it isn't just me and it does improve. And you're right, feels exactly like my sugars have dropped!

How bad was it for you? Did you do anything in particular or just power through?

Do you think you may have covid again?

I have only had this during covid/after jabs and booster but have recurrent pains in my hands and fingers.

My DD has Long Covid and has these symptoms. They've been attributed to a histamine dump and upset mast cells (MCAS). Try antihistamines and looking into what foods are high in histamine and seeing if you can identify a trigger.
