I've googled but cannot find any clear guidance as to whether I should be reporting my LFT's to show that I'm still testing positive.

I know you should report every LFT but does that count after you've tested positive and are just playing the waiting game? or will it just ping up again that you are positive and try to start the whole cycle again?
So fed up of being confused!

I reported mine as that is what T&T told me to do (very early days of Day 6/7 testing being a thing) and it was a massive PITA as it reset everything incl my covid pass to 10 days from the date of my last positive LFT.

So I'd say, no, but the system mighth have caught up with itself by now.

I didn’t report DD’s for the same reason as above - I was concerned that it would re trigger test and trace.

I work for T&T. Do NOT keep reporting your positive LFTs while in isolation, only report the negatives needed for leaving isolation early.

Thank you! I was going to give them a call tomorrow as I felt I was doing something wrong or not doing what I should be doing.

I do feel it's a bit of a risky thing and that it depends on people not being idiots and lying about being negative, but I suppose it's been like that for a while and idiots will be idiots!

Don't report failed early release tests. DH tried and T&T were confused...

Thank you. My boss would not be happy if it retriggered and I'd be going bonkers. Always thought I would love chilling and watching what I wanted all day. The reality is different after day 1 and 2!

Well that's a bit dumb isn't it. I logged a negative early release result yesterday. But today I got another positive (which I've not got round to reporting, and won't be now I've read this). If I get another negative tomorrow and log that, it'll look like two successive negatives to them! But in reality I'm supposed to start over and get two more negatives after today's positive. Tomorrow is my day 9 anyway...

Ditsy79 · 26/01/2022 23:03

Honestly DO NOT report any further positive tests during your isolation period. I am on day 6, reported my day 5 &6 LFTs as positive (which I assumed I was supposed to do) and track & trace restarted another 10 day isolation period for me. It has taken hours of phonecalls and emails to get it fixed - just kept getting told 'computer says no'. Astounding that we have a track & trace system that is utterly unfit for purpose.

JanglyBeads · 26/01/2022 23:08

I wan't v impressed that they don't send some kind of confirmatory email when you do log two negatives in a row after day 5.

Hadn't thought about what would happen if you logged further positives. Ridiculous!

It really is a case of the computer saying "no", there is not an option on the systems to link it to an on going postitive case or even a way to mark that a person has entered a negative LFT accidentally as a positive. It's ridiculous.

I only plan to report if negative
Ds still testing positive day 7 they know hes positive so nothing has changed
