Old style LFT

We’ve just received our latest order of the LFT and have a box of the very original ones whereby it asks you to do throat as well as nose, inc asking you to do your child’s throat. Does anyone know if it is really required to do the child’s throat age 5 and under, I cannot get the swab anywhere near my LO tonsils

I'm sure instructions say you can just do the nose for children. Just do some extra nose swirls

Nope, the instructions for these don’t say that

From my box of nose and throat tests:

Says if not doing the throat to do both nostrils instead
