We are all positive on our lft, dh had to have pcr to confirm dir work and its negative?

None of us have ever tested positive on an lft, we test regularly. Yest we all took an lft and all positive with strong lines. DH work said that he must have a confirmation pcr so he went yest and its just come back negative. There's no way in my mind that can be right! So now he goes back to work? Should be all go for a pcr?

Do any of you have any symptoms at all? Could it be a dodgy batch of LFTs?

Me and dd have cold symptoms. Dh nothing..

My daughter had symptoms and had a negative pcr, I got one whilst I was there with no symptoms and got a positive. That weekend my husband had a temperature of 40 degrees, cough, chest pain. His pcr came back negative. It makes no sense.

No it doesn't and actually I don't know what I trust?

Same here, I have been ill since a week gone Saturday, dd15 had headache, dd10 snotty etc. Did lft’s on whole family (5) of us. Myself and daughters got more than one positive lft from different lft boxes. We went for pcr on Saturday, all negative!!

Something is going on... I don’t believe for one second we haven’t got it!

So me and dh have just taken another one on a different brand of lft and his is negative and I'm positive! The line on his lft yest was really strong. We had also all tested on Saturday as both kids had had close contact during the week and we were all negative Sat!

I’d get him to get another PCR and tell work that he hasn’t had his results yet. Wait for the second one!
