My son is due his 2nd covid vaccine on 3rd April. We travel to Spain on 17th which would be exactly day 14 after it.
Entry requirements say at least 14 days after having 2nd dose.
Will he be able to have it a day before dies anyone know?

@HouseofSkullduggery

Anyone?
Does it not then take 7 days for the proof of vaccine cert? I was having the same issue meaning we can’t go away in the feb half term

We could get the proof in time it's the fact that Spain travel requirements say you're only classed as fully vaccinated if 14 days has passed since the 2nd jab. It will be day 14 on arrival day

Can't you move his jab forward to be on the safe side? I've been to Spain a few times during the pandemic but I don't know how strict they're being.

I don't think you're supposed to but i know someone who was in a sinilar situation and had their teen second jabbed in 11 weeks and 5 days. It was a walk in 'pop up' outside a more expensive supermarket in our local town. No Questions asked except were the parents happy to go ahead!

Hi OP - please could you let me know what you did? I have similar situation with booked jabs exactly 14 days before. Walk-ins are an option but much further drive away so if I can get away with the booked jabs at closer centre, I’d rather do that. Thanks
