Another how long is a bit of string- PCR Times

So I know no-one can tell me exactly but if you’ve recently done a PCR at a test centre how long did you wait for the results?

We’ve taken 4 year old DS for a test at 9am this morning and now the wait begins.

Hoping and praying for a negative result and soon

I went yesterday at 2:30pm negative at 5am this morning. North East England

London, drive through test 9.30 am Friday, result back 10pm same day

Still nothing yet at just over 12 hours.

We are in the south west

I did one at 10am yesterday. Email result came through at 11pm. Text result not until 7am next morning. (Negative, East of England).

10 hours and 45 mins today from dropping test off at the drive thru this morning to getting the result. I could not believe how quick it was, but we were also the only people at the test site so I would think numbers are down as no one is bothering to pcr test now lft tests can trigger isolation.

Quickest before that was 13 hours and the longest has been 36 hours.

Tested at midday on Friday, results midday on Saturday so almost exactly 24hrs.

Check your email, ours came just after 10pm the night of test and text at 6am following day

12 hours on Friday.

The test centre was deserted compared to the other times I’ve been there.

A couple of.weeks ago, (in the SW) tested at 10am, got negative around 1am the following morning.

Exeter walk in test centre.. 9.30am, results at midnight (email, text often later).

Last week, 10am test, 4pm results (also Exeter)

I’m in the North West and still waiting too. Test done at 9.30am today. Just hoping I have a result before 9am

Me and my partner did a pcr at 10am on Wednesday this week in Blackpool and had the negative result at 1.30pm the same day!! They had a mobile test processing unit on site though..

My partner did a pcr this morning at 10am at the same site and had the negative result at 10:15pm tonight. There were no mobile test processing units available on site today, but 12 hours is good going and still a very short time to wait for a result.

I am in the south east, test at 3 p.m yesterday results 4a.m this morning
