Positive pcr negative lateral flow

So got my positive pcr results back today.

The thing is, lateral flow test has never been positive. If I'm not getting a positive lateral flow does this mean I will have to isolate for the full 10 days and not be able to test day 5 and 6 for early release??

I have the same thing. If you're negative on days 5 and 6, you're negative on days 5 and 6.

My son had the same, positive pcr and negative LFTs - but started to show a faint positive on the LFT 5 days after the PCR and now, at day 8, is giving a blazing positive on the LFT. Just when we were hoping he could do back to school 😭
