Just looking for a handhold as one of my main supports my step mum now has tested positive for Covid , firstly was my little sister she tested positive on Thursday and my dad and step mum today … I suffer from ptsd and other mental health problems so suffer form extreme anxiety and they are a big support to me we were with my sister who lives with my dad and step mum on the Wednesday in their house no longer than 30 mins we have tested every day since Thursday we test most days anyway if going work or just anywhere to be extra cautious … my step mum is still negative on a lateral flow but positive from the pcr … I have had only one jab due to reactions was advised to get no more my weight is up so I’m worried if I do get Covid I will end up very unwell 29 and otherwise health non smoker and drinker not that matters but I don’t do many exciting things 😅 We have been advised not to do pcr only lft for 7 days but my anxiety is sky high as I can’t go see my family where I get daily support for my mental health I have my partner but I’m also worried about them my sister is 15 dads 50s and step mums 50s

Sorry for late post just needed a wee hand hold or calming down
Take care 💜

Try and calm down. I’ve just had covid and I felt unwell but not seriously main problem being having no energy.

Everything seems worse in the middle of the night! Try and find something to keep you busy x

Try to take some deep breaths. The overwhelming likelihood is that all of you will be fine including yourself.

Take the daily LFTs as advised and see how you get on, don't get caught up in a circle of trying to predict the future and catastrophising.

You can still phone them or FaceTime them?

Hi yes I had a FaceTime today and they are all okay just sore heads and slight coughs , me and partner Are still negative so hopefully we will be okay.. yeah definitely everything is worse at night thank you both for your messages very much appreciated… think as well because none of our family have luckily been hit with it until now but as you said likely to be mild.

Thank you again
Take care 💜

I can get anxious in the middle of the night so I understand 😊 like I say, I had it and symptoms went on a while but I wasn’t really ill, I’ve felt much worse with stomach hugs and bad colds than this x
