I know a lot of young ones have had really painful achey legs to the point where they’ve refused to walk. However, has anyone’s DC also had very brief temporary swelling in the ankle or leg that hurts?
My nephew is non verbal, has covid. Wouldn’t walk for about 4-6 hours. No bruising or bumps. Been to a&e found nothing worrying and said could possible be sprain. However there was slight swelling in the knee that subsidised very quickly. Weird thing is within 6 hours he was jumping about like nothing happened 🤷‍♀️ Surely a sprain wouldn’t just be painful for 6 hours would it? Could it be a weird effect of covid??

My DD6 had lots of aches and pains in her legs with covid. Although doesn't explain the swelling unfortunately.

Yes I agree. It was defo the first day of covid for him when the random, short lived knee pain happened. It was bizarre one minute he couldn’t move and within 6 hours he was jumping about laid his little head off. Thanks for the reply!
