Anyone else on same time scale and still feeling crap? I am still so tired, just getting out of the bath does me in. Im still lightheaded and dizzy and feeling really nauseous today but haven't been sick. My legs are still hurting as well. Also still testing positive.

Not me, but my friend. She was exactly like you day 9. I had nausea weeks after.

I am day 13, and felt exactly like you- wondered when, and if, it would ever end. Today was the first day I have been feeling quite well, managed not to nap, and done a few bits and pieces around the house. Have gone from feeling dreadful to feeling like I now have the last bit of a cold. Hope you feel better soon

TSJ19 · 22/01/2022 16:19

Hi that's good to hear you are feeling better. Im still testing positive today as well. Im just trying not to overdo it. I feel very tearful today.

How old are you - did you have a booster. I'm on day 3 and feeling like shit.

TSJ19 · 22/01/2022 16:51

Im 38. I only had my second jab late October. I delayed it due to me having a racing heart after the 1st Jab.

Have you got dodgy tummy as well. I haven't exactly got the runs but have already been about 6 times today and only managed a slice of toast. Keep going hot and cold, constantly sneezing, feel like absolute shite and also coughing. I had my booster in December so didn't think I'd feel like this. I'm 60 so don't know if that makes a difference.

Day 9 here and although I feel better than I was, I still don’t feel quite right. Tired, light headed and a bit of an upset tummy. Due back in work on Monday and dreading it (school). They’re really short staffed due to covid so I feel obliged to go in even if I’m not quite right.

TSJ19 · 22/01/2022 17:12

I didnt have an upset tummy at all. My 11 year old was poorly then my 7 year old then i caught it.

I was properly ill for 3 full weeks, as in I couldn’t get out of bed. Dizzy, nauseous, muscle ache it was horrendous. I started to get better slowly but I’m now in week, still breathless (this didn’t start until week 4) and feel a bit weak.

Just a heads up, my GP warned me that breathing issues usually start on day 10.

TSJ19 · 22/01/2022 17:52

Wow day 10 really? I think because isolation is up on day 10 people just assume that you will start to feel better. I have just hoovered the kitchen and done some basic cleaning and im wiped out. Feel shakey and lightheaded. My legs still feel really achey and wobbly.

I'm on day 13 and felt better on about day 11, but still can't not nap.

user1471509171 · 22/01/2022 18:55

@Dahliafairy be careful going back too soon. I went back after 10 days feeling about 90% better but after a couple of days at work (school)in the cold I felt really achey and fatigued and didnt feel well for a further 3 weeks.

Hemskis · 22/01/2022 19:15

I'm on day 9 and feeling exhausted. I did remote teaching for the last 3 days which was ok as i could rest lots too but I'm worried about Monday. It's s primary school and my class is full on. I think they will be particularly excited as they've all had to be home for the last week because of the high numbers of Covid in the year group.
I will give it a go but if it's too much I will stay home for a bit longer. I've got fibromyalgia so I'm worried that that will kick off too.

Theothersideofforty · 22/01/2022 19:48

I'm on day 7 and still feel really tired. Started with a sore throat today and a banging sinus headache again. I'm worried about work next week, only work part time in a school pre school 3 days a week, but it's full on. Not sure if I'm still feeling like this how I will cope.

Mamabear12 · 22/01/2022 20:29

I just finally tested negative yesterday, which was day 14. It was horrible feeling the aches in my legs forever....it lasted until day 12! I still feel a little tired in my legs like I have worked out but have not. I am pretty active though walking everywhere and keeping busy with my 3 kids. It will get better, even though it feels like it won't.

TSJ19 · 23/01/2022 10:40

Mamabear do your legs feel almost like a burning feeling? I can't describe it, it does almost feel like i have done a workout. I will have to leave the house for the first time tomorrow to pick up my youngest from school and i am worried about that.

I've now got a really bad hacking cough and strangely my toes feel very hot. I don't know if I just have a chest infection or if it's because of Covid as it'll be the omicron variant I have. Anyone else got this?
