Confused re rules for re entry to England

Can anyone help me make sense?!

Travelling to France my understanding is that DS 13 with one jab and has proof of having Covid can enter subject to the usual pre departure test.

But coming back into England I found this on Gov .uk.

“Proof of natural immunity will not be accepted as an alternative to proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test.”

Help? Anyone in similar situation?

This suggests he takes the same day 2 test as you do when you come back
