Cold or reinfected?

Hi,
I been back to work 2 days and feel like the common cold is coming again. Surely it can't be Covid again?
Has anyone had a common cold after Covid?
Is this because after Covid our immune system are low?

Viruses circulate all the time, probably nothing to do with having had Covid. Have you tested again?

I got a cold straight away. I'd tested negative and immediately went into a snotty cold. The Covid was more of a prickly throat and sinus headache.

I've seen a lot of people reporting a secondary infection be it colds, gastric or water infections etc.

How long since you tested positive? Dd has been reinfected just 5 weeks after getting covid last month. No symptoms last month but cold like symptoms and sore throat this time, it's definitely covid again as most of her class have it (she's been in contact with 20+ kids with it!) and very strong bold lines on her lft, previously negative.

But if you've literally only just had covid and come out of isolation, I would say it's unlikely to be covid again right away and just a cold!

I just did a test yesterday and it was negative. But think it's because where I work is very cold. When I get home very cold takes me awhile to warm up..I start shivering and had have a cough. Funny coughing only happens evening or during the night. Feel rough like bad sinuses.
