How to get more LFTs when positive??

So me and DH both have covid. He’s on day 5, I’m on day 3. Both our girls are testing negative on LFTs.

We’re starting to run low on LFTs now and definitely don’t have enough to be testing everyone every day. But the website to order them on says you can’t order more if you have covid symptoms, you need a PCR. But we’ve already done that! Do we just lie and say we don’t have symptoms so we can get more tests?

Probably a silly question I know but it doesn’t feel right to lie on a government website!

Just say you haven’t got covid symptoms.

I’d also just lie abs say you don’t have symptoms. What else can you do?!

Just lie you also need them as your DDs need to test everyday as close contacts

Could you order them in your DDs name? Then you can accurately report that she doesn’t have symptoms.

Thanks - yeah that’s what I think we’re going to have to do. Seems so stupid? When their advice is to keep doing LFTs but you can’t get any when you actually have Covid!

Just order them. They've not updated the instructions clearly. I honestly wouldn't consider it to be "lying" in any moral sense!!

Well you say no because you're ordering them for your children who don't have symptoms.

When I tried to order them for delivery over Christmas, there was a message on the website saying to get collect codes if possible so that delivery tests were available for people in isolation, so the government obviously expect you to obtain lfts for this purpose, even if the wording on the site hasn't been updated.

It’s on an address basis anyway - ordering to an address. Trust me this lying conniving government ain’t checking if you’ve ‘lied’ to get a pack of LFTs.

And ‘morality’ they’ve got none

Have just lied before and no one ever came knocking on the door to tell us off.
