When can DD return to school?

I’d be grateful for reassurance that I’ve worked this out right, please tell me if I’m wrong though.

Tues - positive LFT
Weds - isolating
Thurs - isolating
Fri - isolating
Sat - isolating Negative LFT
Sunday - isolating Negative LFT

So assuming she has another negative LFT in the morning, she can return to school tomorrow?

As of the rule change tomorrow I think she can return then, but might be worth checking in with school as ours wasn’t sure what to do with kids already isolating.

Our school recently sent out the guidance but it’s the 10 day (old guidance). Is it down to individual schools to do what they want?

the lfts need to negative on days 5 and 6. the day of the positive test is day 0, unless she gad symptoms before that, so days 5 and are Sunday and Monday. So if she has a second negative lft Monday she can stop isolting at that point.

(school may have different rules for her return though)

Thanks for your help everyone. It was another negative this morning, I hope school are ok with her going back!
