I had my 2nd COVID jab on Friday (Moderna) I have quite bad health anxiety so it’s taken me a while to summon the courage to go and get it done, it was of course a piece of cake and I’m very glad I’ve had it.

I have however had quite a reaction to the injection sight on my arm over the last 48 hours these an inflamed circle that keeps getting bigger and bigger, it was warm to touch yesterday but today is hot and also itchy...

I have a think jumper on and can feel it over the top.

I’ve been telling myself this is probably completely normal but is it?

It is probably within the range of reactions that some people have to it, but I am not a medical expert. I am sure your GP would not mind if you asked.
I would be taking some anti-histamine for the itching.

It is completely normal, I had this after my Moderna booster. It's took a few days to calm down but has been fine ever since.

I had this, lasted about 5 days but gradually got better after day 3.

Thanks all, you’ve all made me feel a lot better. 😊

Yes I had the same after my booster, though it was probably about 8 days before it settled down.

Well done for going though.

Hold an ice pack wrapped in a tea towel on it. Mine was like that too.
