Isolation confusion

Hello,

Hoping someone may be able to clarify please?

Our DD6 tested positive on Monday for Covid, her 7 days of isolating will finish on Monday so she is desperately hoping to go back to school on Tuesday, what happens if she still testing positive by then? (she currently is still positive after just doing a lateral flow)

Thank you

She can't

You keep testing every day, 24 hours apart. Once 2 negatives in a row she can return. If still testing positive after the 10 days, it doesn’t matter. No temperature = out of isolation.

Thank you, that makes sense 👍
