Close Contact one week after covid

Hi,

My niece has just tested positive on a lateral flow test. My family have just left our own isolation periods (last week) after having covid over Christmas. I have looked after her 3 days this week as childcare.

Do we need to test daily for 7 days and limit contact or are we OK?

I wouldn’t bother unless any of you develop new symptoms, although the rules would say you should do LFT for 7 days, I think it would be unlikely for you to get it again this quick. With regards to contacts I would limit these especially if they are vulnerable.
