Both me and partner have tested positive for Covid, my partner is on maternity leave and is really poorly with it we have a 9 month old son, I'm having to look after our son as my partner is poorly.
I'm ok and my symptoms arnt too bad although I'm aware this can change.
My boss had basically forced me to work from home without giving me a choice?
I've never worked from home before but now wants to set up a computer in my living room with my 9 month old son crawling around whilst I'm positive.
Is this ok? Is my boss aloud to force me to work from home after testing positive as technically I'm off sick?

No it's not ok. How does your boss know how you feel? You could be really unwell.
I would say. Sorry but I'm off sick and not well. So won't be working from home.

I would say I do not feel well enough to work from home, tell him you are sticking to government guidelines and will test on days 5 and 6 and if you are negative, will be able to return to work. Also nobody is allowed in your home whilst you are positive, so cannot come to your home in to set up computer, who would want to go into someone’s home where you have covid.
