Feel like a fraud

Husband tested positive on lft on Monday and then confirmed by pcr on Tuesday.
I've been testing daily since Monday. Wednesday night I did 3 tests, positive negative positive!
Told work (school) and they advised a pcr. Went for that on Thursday morning, got the result back at 1am and it's negative.
Took another lft straight away and it's positive.
Work are saying to treat as positive but I feel like a fraud!
Anyone else had such a mess/confusion?

I had this too, also school staff so I understand. My lft was a strong positive but pcr was negative. I waited 2 days then had another pcr and it was positive

Yup. 2 negative PCR but my husband is positive, positive LF, , I’m symptomatic and 2 kids have it.

You don’t need to confirm with a PCR now. The guidelines have changed.

So treat your positive LFT as covid19 positive and isolate as per guidance.

I had this but over the weekend before guidelines changed....Work in pharmacy.

2xDc/ dh all positive on lft and pcr. Dc 3&4 negative on lft no symptoms. Mine came back strong postive lft - same symptoms as dh. I had two pcrs as requested by work on Friday and Saturday both negative. Dc 3&4 tested positive on lft and pcr on the Monday.

Mine are finally negative and symptoms slowly disappearing.

Three positive LFTs are pretty conclusive. They're rarely false positives, the PCR can be false negative.
Also why did you take 3 LFTs on one night? They aren't free you know!
