How does this make sense?

Letter from the school letting us know about the latest guidance around testing etc.

As expected, its telling us about LFT twice weekly, PCR if symptoms are present.
Isolation for 10 days, but to test on day 6 and 7 with LFT and if negative you can leave isolation on day 7.

At the bottom of the letter it states:
In the meantime, please do not complete an LFD within 10 days of a positive result.

So if we test positive with the LFT and isolate while waiting for a PCR...do we or do we not then test again on day 6 and 7 like they said, and if we do(which is the guidelines!), Why is this same letter telling us not to?

I am exhausted so maybe I'm not reading correctly, but that last part where I've wrote exactly what they said is word for word. Am I right that this makes no sense?

I think they mean to look for a new covid infection.
