I am on day 3 and had the booster 3 weeks before. Not sure if that counts as close? Feels like a heavy cold and headache at the moment but I do need regular paracetamol to stop the shivers and aches.

DH caught it a few days after his booster and was totally fine, barely any symptoms.

I tested positive a few days after my booster, that was 5 weeks ago and I still feel rough. Incredibly tired, achey and palpatations that have required an ECG. The GP said that bc the booster hadn't taken effect I was effectively unprotected, hence the relatively severe symptoms. Hopefully you will be luckier than me :)

@Springdafs did you have symptoms before u tested? Or after. I'm
Day two from a positive latral flow and have no symptoms yet.

I had my second jab in October and was excatly 12 weeks then had booster

Day of the booster I felt fine. Days 1 and 2 after it I felt rough but assumed it was from the booster (neg lfts) Days 3 and 4 I felt worse and worse, I had neg lfts, but DS had positive lfts. ÄŽay 5 I had a positive lft then positive pcr.
It was a bit confusing at the time and very disappointing!!

I got Covid before my booster but after two jabs didn't have symptoms until day 7 or 8. X

Yes, 2 of my friends thought they felt rough after the booster! I thought it was odd considering they had pfizer.. they were both ill for around a week but probably 36 hours of feeling really iffy

TalkToTheHand123 · 13/01/2022 08:31

You went for booster when your daughter had covid?

mummyto6123456 · 13/01/2022 08:38

@TalkToTheHand123 yes I did so she tested positive and I isolated her right away I then contacted the booster clinic and they said as long as I have a negative latral flow I was allowed. When I got there I asked them what happens if I then test positive after they said
Nothing bad will happen and unfortunately it happens as some people are asymptomatic and actually have covid the same time of there booster.
