I work in a school, we have loads of staff off at the moment with covid so felt it was only a matter of time. I am testing every morning, yesterday my throat started niggling about 2 o’clock, did a LFT when I got home, negative. Woke up this morning with sore throat and head ache, did a LFT - line so dark it was almost black! Tested all the kids, youngest (4) faint positive…. Anyone else tested positive today?

Because I work in a SEND school I can’t go back to work until the 10 days are up because we have some really vulnerable children.

Yesterday evening for me. I work as 1-1 in a primary school - hope I haven’t passed it on to my child!
No symptoms, it was just a random test. I am already bored as I feel fine and hate being stuck at home!

I am so worried that I have passed it on 😢 hope you continue to feel ok

Just wanted to say this is such a good example that LFT do work on picking up cases that would normally go undetected and could potentially be passed on to everyone else, but it does show how infectious this virus is and I really can’t see how teachers and school children are going to avoid it. Hope you continue feeling ok.

I’m the only one in my department who hasn’t got covid yet this term… and I spent whole days of INSET next to them in our office. Time will tell I guess
