My DH's son has tested positive for covid. He was with us until yesterday and had a positive test today (lft)

His Mum and stepdad tested positive last week but before he came to us he had 48 hours of negative lft's.

He is due to come back and stay tomorrow. Is he allowed? Or does he have to isolate at his current address now?

He needs to stay where he is - visiting a non-resident parent isn't a reason not to self-isolate, and it would be daft to expose another household if he's tested positive.

Ok thank you.

My thinking was he's been here for the last 4 days so we'd already be exposed.

Very true - but still, he needs to stay where he is.
