And no other any of getting children to school for a whole week.

Am I allowed to drive if I don't get out of the car?

I kept my two off school when I had it - I was quite poorly though and wouldn’t have been up to driving. The school sent work home for them.

I’ve been driving the DC in for the last few days I just don’t get out of the car - I’ve got four more days’ isolation and they need to be at school so it’s the best option.

Legally you're not allowed to leave your house, but honestly if you're not leaving the car, I absolutely would do it.

I had to keep my children home

I’m driving mine to school at the moment and letting them walk in. If you don’t get out of the car there is no issue

What does the school say? They should be sympathetic to you having no alternative and set remote learning.

Some schools would walk up and collect the children but are unlikely to put them in a car with a member of staff considering the children are highly likely to catch covid from you.
