Hi all
Had 3 doses of Pfizer now - my first two jabs I had no side effects other than a sore arm and feeling tired for a couple of days.
At the end of November I had the booster jab. The next day I developed some lower leg pain in my right leg, didn't think too much of it but it lasted a couple of weeks, eventually settled in my right bum cheek area. I called the GP who said it just sounded muscular and apply heat etc within 24 hours the pain had gone!
Fast forward to nearer Christmas and my right leg started up again in the back of my knee and calf, again GP wasn't concerned but I went to A&E to be checked out D dimer was normal and had various ecg's, chest X-rays etc as I was experiencing some mild chest pains (I do have severe anxiety so this is not abnormal when I get into a panic). Legs were measured and they all appeared normal. Again the pain completely went over the next couple of days.
For the last 2 weeks I've experienced lower leg pain in my left leg, GP not concerned as the pain is very very mild and comes and goes every couple of days e.g last two days have had nothing at all and today it aches again - they have suggested that it is to do with what I do in a day and my sitting/sleeping positions - I would describe it as an incredibly mild ache that if I'm busy/walking around don't notice until I sit down.
Now my DM also received the Pfizer booster jab and ended up in hospital just before new year with DVT!
Just wondering if anyone else had any of these side effects - the GP said to DM that it could be related but she also has preexisting conditions with her leg so may have been caused by that.
Just seems strange that we have both had issues!
