Anyone else with covid a bit dizzy? Otherwise just a tickly cough, but woke up feeling quite spinny this morning & it hasn’t settled yet.

I’m out of my isolation now (pos on 27/12) but vertigo-ish symptoms kicked in around day 3 and still haven’t left. They are my most persistent and problematic symptom.

Yes. I’m on day 6 and started feeling dizzy yesterday. It’s worse this morning. Ok if I stay sitting, but comes on if I get up or if I lie down (annoying!).

Do you have a high temperature? Mine is a bit high and I’m putting it down to this.

Lifeisnteasy · 09/01/2022 11:33

No temperature here but like you, it tends to be when I stand up/sit down. Annoying! Hope you both feel better soon!

I had this was a supposed non-covid virus a couple months ago. A prescription from the GP and copying the Epley Manoeuvre from YouTube helped loads

@DickMabutt73962, I’ve had a similar labrynthitis type of virus over the last few years it lasted months at a time, both DH and I had it and at one point we even thought we might have a carbon monoxide leak or something. We fitted alarms and no problems in that dept, just viral weirdness.

Yes I went though a phase of googling monoxide poisoning symptoms as well before I remembered I'm in a fully electric flat 😂

Yes, severe dizziness from about day 5 for three weeks.

LittleFriendSusan · 09/01/2022 12:12

Yes, dizziness and nausea were my main symptoms from about day 4 onwards. Day 3, I'd thought I was over the worst of it (fever / headache / cough had settled down), then the next day I could barely move without vertigo-type symptoms. Day 11 now and it's a lot better, although still not 100%.

I had a similar viral thing early last year which lasted weeks (tested negative for Covid) - I think Covid must have just triggered it again.

Day 6 and I’ve started feeling really dizzy today, mainly when I stand up and then stand up for too long xx
