Thoughts on flow flex

Same person two different test
Anyone else had this

I think the second positive one includes a throat swab correct? If so there are studies that say throat swabs pick it up better.

Does the person have symptoms? If so PCR. If not I would be inclined to say that is positive and they need to isolate

@Quartz2208 it's my daughter no symptoms she's 12 but came home from her family in London who have all gone down with omicron

Positive as long as instructions were followed.

I & all my close contacts got clear positives on flow flex. They worked well for us 🤷🏼‍♀️

They have worked really well for us both before, during and after covid infection

I tested positive on a pcr I sent back on Monday this week. Had been doing lfts all week since then as dh tested positive earlier in the week and all my lfts were negative. (Despite doing throat swabs as well). Lost faith in them to be honest!

I have read a lot about false positive flowflex but that's not what you are asking.

What are these tests? They are different. What time interval were the pictures taken at for each test?

With flowflex (no throat swab) I test positive 80% of the time. Have had pcr and they always come back negative. So I try to stick to other brands or.I'd be constantly off work for no reason.

So yes, for me there is an issue with the flowflex brand tests. I have reported these issues via the nhs yellow card system
