Sore eyes with Omicron?

I know sore eyes were sometimes a symptom of the alpha strain, but has anyone found this to be the case with Omicron? Have woken up with sore eyes and a headache; no pinkness. LTF negative, though I might try swabbi g my throat instead of my nose

Hi @Mumsnut

We recently had covid just before Christmas and my son's eyes were really itchy on and off - don't know if it's an official symptom or not but that is what happened here.

Fingers crossed you won't get it 🤞

My dc's both had sore eyes with delta. Don't know if it's a symptom of omicron though.

I had covid the week before Christmas and I could not tolerate contact lenses for a good 15 days. My DD also had it and her only symptom was one of her eyes had a sore bit on the outer corner

Thanks all. Trying not to burn through LTF tests ; will definitely swab throat as well tomorrow. No other or new symptoms

Yes, and a feeling of pressure behind them with blurred vision.

Both Dd and I had sore eyes with delta.

Didn’t have sore eyes but the skin around my eyes was really sore and sensitive.

Ihaveamagicwand · 08/01/2022 21:23

That was with Omicrom

Ihaveamagicwand · 08/01/2022 21:24
