It feels strange

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone is feeling the same.
Even before Covid I had not had a really bad cold. I would have bad sinuses but not runny nose, watery eyes.
I can't even remember when the last time I had a very bad cold.
It's also got me wondering if I don't test positive to Covid on PCR test. It's maybe because I haven't had a cold like this in a long time
I had forgotten how bad you feel. I use to say feel flu is coming or my nose blocked but if nose cleared no full blown cold was very strange.
Now Omicron got me I am hoping I am not worse because of not having it in a long time.

We are wondering this also. I usually get 1 or 2 bad colds each year that puts me to bed for 2/3 days, manageable but really quite nasty symptoms usually ending with a chest infection and cough, but nothing in 2 years now. I do take multivitamins and a few other supplements.

Does anyone think now I have had Omicron I could get a normal common cold faster?

In my original post I said I haven't had a cold a long before getting Omicron Covid. I mean all I would get is bad headache and sinuses. But no full blown cold.

I am just not sure what is going on with my body if it's a bit of everything. My fibromyalgia haven't felt good and been feeling shivering and even with heating on still feel good. I been to work and felt cold too..
My husband had said I am not okay still. Starting to think I am still not great.
But like I said not sure if it's after effects of Omicron, fibromyalgia or just getting a normal cold. Feeling hot at the moment and scared to get into the shower.
