Just that really,I’m curious if there was much time between a positive lft and symptoms? I tested positive on a lft yesterday and nervously awaiting feeling rubbish

I've had my booster and I didn't get any symptoms after my lateral flow. I tested negative on day 5 & 6 and left isolation after day 7.

That's reassuring rhowton thank you!

The next day.

DS tested positive on an LFT in November he had a slightly blocked nose for about 3 or 4 days.

The rest of the family tested positive on 31st December. We all had sore throats when we woke up (not that unusual for me anyway) but had developed into cold symptoms by the end of the day.

DS (22) tested postive on lateral flow last Sunday. PCR the same day was positive. He has had no symtoms at all - yesterday tested negative on a lateral flow. Looking forward to an early release after 7 days :-)

Just to add - DS is double jabbed but no booster yet due to timings.

I have an immune system disorder and had ALL my symptoms before testing positive. Since then, I’ve just been tired - and some of it is probably due to the preceding nine-day-disease flare.

It’s a little weird having a blazing +ve LFT with barely any symptoms when, for the week preceding, I was testing -ve on a LFT, but really unwell.

About 12 hours for me!
Got a positive LFT with no symptoms on Monday morning. By Monday night I felt rough.

Did a PCR on Tuesday, which came back positive today. Still feeling rough as hell.

Dp had covid and I was testing regularly. I got a positive result on the Sunday and symptoms started the next day - thankfully pretty mild cold like symptoms.

Dp was similar. He didn't have any covid specific symptoms when he first got a positive lft - he had a migraine and nose bleeds. But he got mild symptoms and lost his smell & taste a day or so later.

Seems like a mixed bag as with everything else covid related! I did have an awful headache on Saturday so now wondering if that was it. I was in hospital last week overnight on Tuesday with dd so potentially could have picked it up then
