Positive LFT/ Negative PCR - WWYD?

DH has had +lft since Tuesday so isolating. Yesterdays PCR (at drive thru) turned out negative.
He has then completed a 2nd hole PCR and posted that off today.

I see online chances of a false positive LFT is 3/10000, but from the 11th he would have to isolate based on LFT only as he is symptomless atm?

It's a bit of a minefield; this is the first time Covid has hit our house so to speak..:

The real world false negative rate of non medical setting administered PCRs is almost 30%. It's vastly, vastly more likely that he's positive than not.

Much more likely to be false negative PCR than false positive LFT

Yes that was my thinking; shall see what 2nd PCR comes back with eh?

My DP tested positive on a LTF, had an unclear PCR, took another but whilst waiting took another LTF which was negative, the second PCR was positive, day 6 LTF was negative, day 7 was positive, a second 10 mins later was negative 🤷🏻‍♀️
