PCR results...?

I noticed I had a light sore through about a week ago, LFT constantly negative so thought nothing of it. Tested positive on the LFT on Monday but symptoms disappeared by then. Have done the PCR and sent it off yesterday. Today I am feeling very fatigued and no appetite (you get the idea) and have noticed these are normal covid symptoms during day 8-ish for some people (I say some as this is still new and people react differently).

How long until I know the results and how likely they will come back positive?

If you had symptoms last Sunday then I think you can take LFT's from this Sunday and if negative then you can stop isolating. Don't quote me but I think that's now the rules. No need to do a pcr if you are asymptomatic but had the positive LFT result.

• correction- you need two sequential days of negative LFTs, not just one.
