Anyone else get an email saying their pcr wasn't able to be read? My friend says she's seen quite a few people on fb saying they're had the same issue. I repeated the test and still awaiting results.

My sister had this a couple of weeks ago. She retested and was positive.

But she had symptoms and lost her taste and smell by this point so it was really a formality. She had been isolating.

I had this. I then went back and the next result was positive. I had no symptoms but tested as a contact. I'm wondering if I've possibly had Covid before and it was picking up an old infection. I've finished isolating now but still puzzled. I know people can be asymptomatic but I was also negative on all my LTFs.

Thanks for replies. Strange isn't it as I'm sure I did the test correctly, I've done plenty unfortunately. I have been getting negative LFs but booked a pcr as I had symptoms. I've had covid before and this feels very similar. My isolation technically ends tomorrow now too!
