Gastro symptoms with Covid?

I've had Covid for over a week and today had short-lived but very uncomfortable stomach / bowel /back pains. Bit like bad trapped wind. Nearly had to lie down. The pain moved around and then after about half an hour eased up. Since getting Covid I've also had more of a 'gurgly' belly than before and have been passing more wind generally.

Can i blame all of these on Covid? Grin Anyone else recognise this?

Well I had exactly this between Xmas and New Year and felt quite wiped out but was doing LFT’s regularly and they were all negative. I did wonder about covid but obviously not typical symptoms.

I posted about this. I suddenly got stomach issues about day 14. Mostly pain, and gurgling
No diarrhoea. Wondered if could blame covid! Word of warning, I think alcohol triggered mine. I drank lots of wine when I felt better from covid and the pain started after a too many glasses of red.... not a usual thing for me though so I will blame covid at Christmas!

Yes me too. Very gurgly tummy about a week after testing positive and then gassy watery stools that came out of nowhere but no pain .
