Lateral flow instead of PCR for day 2

Now that the government is no longer insisting on a day 2 PCR test does anyone know if it would be ok to use the departure lateral flow tests I was taking abroad to use before I returned to the UK, rather than buy new ones. I just wondered if they're the same.

I think you will have to contact the test provider for a new code. The tests will be the same but the code for the passenger locator form is the important bit.

Was there not a four nations meeting today to discuss issues about people coming into the U.K.

Not sure if it’s finished yet but we should presumably hear the outcome tomorrow and if it mentions this.
