If you’re in Scotland, how long did it take for test and protect to contact you

If your pcr test was positive, how soon after result did they get in touch? Does result text/email tell you how long to isolate for? My son has been for a pcr test today but has had two positive lft’s tonight so just wondering what will happen next.

Dh got his results and a link to fill in for T&P. Not sure he ever completed the info but we're isolating anyway. Think when you fill in the info it tells you isolation dates but we're just going from his positive LFT date.

We waited about 3 days for results to come back which was a pain - dh positive, the rest of us negative

They now just email you/text you the result. If it’s positive, you’ll get another following email soon after with a link to an online form
to complete, which will tell you your isolation dates based on the information you give them.

They rarely call now, apparently they don’t have the capacity.

Pcr on the 31st
Positive result on the 2nd

A couple emails, then a phonecall today.

No one contacted me - positive result on 27/12 - don't really think people are being contacted now, probably due to higher numbers.
