I got a positve on LFT, took a PCR and just got results which were negative. Anyone know what I need to do in this scenario?

Legally you can go with the negative PCR but in reality I would go get another PCR. This happened to me in October, I had 5 faint positive LFTs in a week and 2 negative PCRs.

Thanks for replying. Did you just do your isolation period anyway? Do you have any idea what causes this to happen?

Hi, do you have symptoms? I'd be vary wary if you do. But legally you don't need to do anything. Apparently it's about a 1 in 3 chance you're positive with that combo ( I can't remember where I saw it but I'm a nurse and it was through a work email). So the above advice to get another PCR in a day or two (or definitely if you get symptoms) is good, and proceed with caution if not. Seems to be a lot of this about!
