What is the Linkage key and the Account ID ?

Ah, I think some GP practices haven’t enabled online services for all their patients (which would enable you to register fir the NHS App directly), so you need to ask them for that info so you can individually register on the NHS App.

I don’t think you can get those pieces of info without actually asking the surgery.

I rang the GP's. They had no idea. I use online services already

If you don't have what you need to register you follow the instructions and send a video thing which they somehow check and then authroise the app.

I don’t think you need those for the nhs app. 99% sure you don’t. Use your date of birth or nhs number or something instead? I didn’t use the linkage key thing.

I'm already registered and can access covid pass but I need to prove identity for travel and to use the online services through the app. I have no photo ID and the app asks for the information

In that case I'd assume that the person you spoke to at the GPs doesn't know what to do

If it was me I'd email them with the NHS website link and say you need the info

Stupid question maybe, how are you going to travel if you don't have a passport? Do you need the app for other parts of the UK?

I had this a few weeks ago. I have had the app a while and used it without issue previously.

I deleted and reinstalled the app and that cleared the issue, letting me back in using my nhs usual log on details. Might be worth a try seeing you are already registered
