Due booster but close contact?

I’m due my booster tomorrow but I’ve been in contact with someone who has tested positive for covid last week (Wednesday and Thursday I was in contact).

There are no LFTs available and I’m worried about the health consequences of having the jab at the same time if I potentially had covid.

I’ve no symptoms or reasons to think I have it. Would anyone else rearrange or should I just go ahead?

When did they get symptoms/positive test? Were you in contact in the 48 hours before symptoms/test?

They didn’t have symptoms. They were a close contact but had said on the Wednesday they’d done a LFT and it was negative. Then Thursday we were chatting and they said they were having ti take another test but would be doing it after NYE.

I’ve only found out today basically through workplace gossip nobody’s actually told me even though I was the only person in contact with this colleague closely.

When was their test though?
Was it more than 48 hours after you saw them?
If so, you wouldn't be counted as a close contact
