Will they have to isolate again?

Dc had covid last month and missed the last week of term isolating. We're in Scotland so whole households have to isolate again. This came in the day they tested positive so I had to stay off work. Well bizarrely I didn't catch it from dd pinching my drinks and sleeping in my bed breathing directly in my face but have now tested positive on a lateral flow despite having only been out the house once in the last 10 days on January 1st to pick up dc. I didn't go in the house (he had a cold so spoke briefly on the doorstep and left) popped to Tesco which was quiet then home. Anyway dc due to go back to school on Thursday but will they still be expected to isolate even though they've just had it themselves? Worried about the amount of school they are missing now as no online learning provided. I didn't book them a PCR as there was very stern warnings not to waste them on the site and they didn't appear eligible. I know it's advised not to test within 90 days but there's an option to say you've tested positive in the last 90 days when booking your own. All very confusing
