Is a hot flushing face a symptom?

I’m prob being paranoid. Partner had covid, finished isolation 5 days ago. I’ve been testing lft daily since then… due to have a family Xmas soon after ours was cancelled.
All tests negative, been nose & throat swabbing to be more accurate

I don’t have symptoms but keep getting a very itchy hot face, hot flush really. Almost like an allergic reaction.
Partner laughing at me that menopause has started.. which could be possible?
It’s flushing now and it’s itchy and tingly.

Very odd, my sister and I both have itchy faces/skin and feeling under the weather. She did a PCR because she was a close contact and was negative. Maybe there's some other weird, itchy germ going round! Have you tried taking an antihistamine in case it is an allergy?

Very odd!!
I took an antihistamine this afternoon when it was driving me crazy and it calmed down after about an hour.

It was fine all the way through to 9pm when I had a cup of tea and it came back but not at bad as earlier.

Does it feel a bit like light sunburn? Like when it's hot but not painful yet? Because that was my first symptom with the original COVID.

I've been getting really hot when I eat recently. Like I sit down at the table to eat and after 5 mins have to start taking clothes off!

Not sure if it's a perimenopause thing or something else. LFT negative.

I tested positive on Boxing Day after waking up with symptoms, today is day 7 and I've tested positive again (we're all testing again today because my elderly father is stuck here in isolation with us and his partner can't come and pick him up until we all get negative tests for two days)

I have had the most wicked hot flushes, and generally been ferociously hot and uncomfortable. Also drenching night sweats. Am pretty sure ours is Omicron, as we all seemed to catch it on the same day. All triple vaxxed.

I was the same as @Porcupineintherough - both times. My face looked pretty normal though it wasn’t as red as it felt. My hands were the same second time.

Yes! I currently have Covid, and a very hot face. I’m hot in general, but especially my face, not a temperature though. I also have burning eyeballs that feel like they are going to fall out, a racing heart, and a raging thirst. I don’t feel tired as much as weak and jittery, and sleeping a lot. I have the cough and tickly, heavy chest and my bones ache.
Hopefully I will feel better soon 😂

Oh god. Not sounding good with some people having it as a symptom.
No night sweats, no fever. It’s not so much a sunburn feeling, more itchy.

I’ve even been swabbing my throat aswell as my nose to make sure I get the best swab possible for the lft.

If I was positive, I would have thought at least one of my 8 tests would have shown something?

Been daily testing since partner was positive.
