Yes, but vvv faint. I would do another one this evening as a double check.

PurpleDaisies · 01/01/2022 11:38

No. If you think you can, isolate and book a pcr.

BertieBotts · 01/01/2022 11:39

I don't think they are like pregnancy tests. If the test is inconclusive then take another but if it's a barely visible line I'd probably assume negative.

WinterBerry7 · 01/01/2022 11:39

I can’t

2boysand1princess · 01/01/2022 11:43

I can see a very faint line. I’d test again in the evening or tomorrow morning.

ReeseWitherfork · 01/01/2022 11:43

Yeah I can. But I'd do another!

GoodnightGrandma · 01/01/2022 11:44

Very, very feint. Yes.

Sux2Buthen · 01/01/2022 11:44

Yes, definitely

PurpleDaisies · 01/01/2022 11:45

There’s no need to repeat of you can see any sort of line. If you can see a line, book a pcr (if you can!).

fostle · 01/01/2022 12:01

nearest PCR is over 80 miles away and as it's a bank holiday there is no postal delivery or collections until Tuesday morning.

I will keep trying for a PCR and isolate in the mean time.

friedeggandsauce · 01/01/2022 12:03

Have you done another LFT?

kimlo · 01/01/2022 12:05

the postal ones are still being delivered and the priority postboxes are still being emptied.

I can see a line, it's just faint.

fostle · 01/01/2022 12:13

Not yet, it's my son who has ASD test. Getting him to agree to a test takes time and coaxing.
OP posts:
PurpleDaisies · 01/01/2022 12:15

There’s no need for another lft, especially if you’re planning to get a pcr.

fostle · 01/01/2022 12:15

Ah, thank you. I didn't know about priority boxes as all other PCRs we have done have been at the test centre down the road.

Postal tests available now

Moderngirl2409 · 01/01/2022 13:31

Are all priority postboxes being collected? When I go on the website ours says no collection today and Sunday collection times for the next 3 days. We don’t usually have a Sunday collection so I had assumed no collection at all until Wednesday?

TheresOnlyOneWayOfLife · 01/01/2022 13:52

DS2 had very faint line yesterday and 3 negative tests. Today has strong positive line and all the symptoms.
I managed to get walk in PCR's 10 miles away for 3 of them by refreshing the page yesterday.

SparkleWhale · 01/01/2022 13:54

I see a very faint line. I've had lots of these where the indent line seems quite grey and prominent but subsequent tests and PCRs have all been firm negatives. It's very annoying. Test again this evening and if you're still unsure, book a PCR.

KiloWhat · 01/01/2022 14:22

I can. Get PCR don't muck around doing another LFT

fostle · 01/01/2022 16:28

Managed to get a PCR drive in for 8am tomorrow.

Thanks all, it's the not knowing for sure that's most annoying.

This is wrong. It's the same as a pregnancy test where a line is a line (on the U.K. tests at least).
