Just a rant really!!

Why is this happening to me! I've posted before about how I always test a faint positive on flow flex LFTs ( I have to test regularly for work ) but having felt poorly over the past few days I tested again on a flow flex but had the strongest line I've ever had .... results in this morning as negative from my PCR!
At this point I'm done with flow flex! Bring back the old LFTs I never had a problem with them!

Sensitivity of PCR testing in the real world (taking into consideration the likelihood of the virus getting onto the swab) is only of the order of 70%. It misses (gives false negative results) in about 30% of people who do actually have the virus, and who may be contagious

Or else technique/ contamination of LFT?
I’ve never managed to get flow flex yet. I order online and still get the old style ones.

We are also having testing issues as a family.

Started daily LFTs as DH is CEV and DS had positive LFT confirmed with positive PCR on 15/16th Dec. He remained asymptomatic throughout.

DD & DH have tested negative on LFTs throughout.

I have tested negative on LFTs from 15th until 22nd and have had consistently positive LFTs since then.

DH & I both had negative PCR on 23rd and 27th.

DD tested positive on PCR on 27th, LFTs still all negative.

So no idea what's going on. I have had sore throat, headaches, nausea since 25th.

None of us going anywhere as we assume that I have it as positive LFT & symptoms and DD has it as positive PCR?
