What are we to do now?

I have tested positive and am isolating in the bedroom. DH and 2 DC so far have no symptoms.
up until a couple of days ago they'd all be going for PCR tests as close contact but the rules have changed (yet again) and now they are to take lateral flows for the next 7 days.
I am also to take a lateral flow on day 6&7 problem is we have no lateral flows, can't order them online, can't get them in the chemist.
Is there somewhere I can buy them?

Can DH get to a vaccination centre? They were giving out LFTs at mine yest.

Northern Ireland. In theory we need 24 which seems excessive but to follow the rules that's how many we should use.

Keep trying to order online. 2 of us are positive and another negative, so we all need to keep testing or test our way out. I have been able to get boxes as required- if it says they are unavailable, try again in an hour's time, or early the next morning.
I couldn't get any from local pharmacies (before I had symptoms).

In Scotland you need to get them on prescription from the pharmacy so I'd go and get you all a prescription of them. So that would be 28.

Testing sites are handing them out also

I'm in Scotland and have found logging onto the online gov site around 8.00am will let me order them for delivery.
I wish you were nearer as I'd let you have a box. I have a spare as we ordered (paid through our veterinary supplier) some privately at work.

You don’t need to test via LFT daily as a close contact - it is a recommendation not a rule. We only did it if we were going out and on days 6 and 7 after first exposure. But keep refreshing the website. Also post on your local Facebook group - people have been very willing to pass on unused boxes around here.

That's been our approach. It's not law, it's a recommendation so we are trying to be pragmatic.
