Bruised arm after Booster?

I had a Booster 3 days ago. My arm at the site of injection has a big black bruise. Never bruised after any other injection - anyone else had this?

Yes. It’s when they clip a blood vessel with the needle.

Back on the day they used to put the needle in the arm, pull back on the plunger to ensure they were in a muscle not a blood vessel or vein, and if nothing came out they knew the needle was positioned correctly and they could continue to give the injection.

Nowadays they just stick it in and push the plunger without checking.

That’s modern medicine for you.
