Anyone had an inconclusive result

Two of us out of four in our family have had inconclusive results on our day 2 arrival test from a holiday. We were both tested by different nurses and we have done plenty of PCR tests ourselves over the last year or so without any issue. I've read there is a chance we could of had a small viral load so that's why it's inconclusive and wonder of others experiences? I have a scratchy throat now, but my lateral flow is negative and I'm awaiting a PCR to be sent out again from collinsons who do the tests. I can't get a drive through or walk through PCR test online.

I had an inconclusive one followed by a negative one. I wouldn't worry too much, it's usually when it's contaminated with blood from your nose according to a doctor friend of mine.

Oh that's interesting I hadn't heard of that. Fingers crossed, but a bit gutted I can't see family for New Years, but I guess that's just how things are right now.

I work at a school and have heard of quite a few inconclusive results, and I've had one myself too.

They've all turned out to be negative.
